Summer Student / Graduate Internship 2017 - Gallery Education Support

National Design & Craft Gallery is delighted to announce an exciting internship opportunity for students / graduates of art, craft, design or related courses. This internship / work placement will offer the candidate the opportunity to work closely with the Education Outreach Officer and the NDCG team, contributing to and supporting the delivery of our dynamic exhibition educational programmes.

National Drawing Day 2017

Join us from 11am - 3pm on Saturday 20 May at the National Design & Craft Gallery and experience lots of FREE creative family fun and artistry this National Drawing Day. We have a wide range of workshops including a Fabric Flower Garden, Lino Printing and Metal Drawing plus much more!

Bealtaine Crafternoon Tea + Gallery Tour

National Craft Gallery is delighted to host a special event this May in conjunction with Bealtaine Festival, celebrating creativity as we age. We invite you to join us at the National Craft Gallery for ‘Crafternoon Tea’ and an informal gallery tour on Tuesday 16th May at 11am or 2.30pm. The gallery tour will explore the stunning craft in our Portfolio exhibition.

MIXOLOGY: Design Cocktails with Pembroke Kilkenny

National Craft Gallery are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Pembroke Kilkenny and Master Mixologist Darren Geraghty to create a special Design Cocktail for each exhibition, inspired by the ideas and forms in the show. The cocktail will be launched at the exhibition opening and will be available in Statham’s Bar at Pembroke for the exhibition duration. Come along on Friday 10th February to sample the Global Irish Design Challenge inspired cocktail sensation!
