Just a short walk from the National Design and Craft Gallery is the Pembroke Kilkenny, our Hospitality Partner since 2017. For each of our exhibitions the Pembroke's international award-winning mixologist and cocktail curator, Darren Geraghty, designs a cocktail range that reflects the theme and or materials used in our shows. All are made with homemade syrups, fresh fruit and unique Irish ingredients bursting with vibrant flavours. These ranges are launched in the gallery during the exhibition opening night and can then be enjoyed for the run of the exhibition in the Pembroke Kilkenny Statham's Bar.
The Office of Public Works (OPW) has opened the doors of some of Ireland’s significant historic sites to the National Design and Craft Gallery’s touring exhibitions. Venues like Kilkenny Castle, Dublin Castle and Farmleigh Estate Gallery have engaged a wider audience with our exhibitions of Irish and International designer makers. The OPW undertake significant protection and conservation of Ireland’s heritage. With this partnership, the National Design and Craft Gallery and the OPW can continue to promote this heritage alongside new cultural initiatives.
The National Design & Craft Gallery are delighted to partner with the RTÉ Supporting the Arts initiative for our 2020 programme.
