‘Keep Well’ Christmas Activities Available At Your Leisure
Design & Crafts Council Ireland has launched a new creative project to bring the skills and talents of Ireland’s craftspeople and designers into homes and communities across the country.
The “Keep Well” campaign is part of the Government’s Plan for Living with COVID-19 to promote individual and community resilience. DCCI will focus on the campaign’s strand ‘Switching off and Being Creative’. This programme encourages people at home to ‘switch off, be creative, and to learn something new’. It offers people of all ages and abilities an opportunity to engage with a series of online creative activities, and onsite activities at public locations (where possible within COVID-19 guidelines) all designed to promote wellbeing and resilience during COVID-19.
Over the next few months DCCI and the National Design & Craft Gallery will run a series of online videos, workshops and activities, involving Ireland’s designers, makers and our member organisations - Guilds, Associations, Networks and Societies (GANS).

DCCI Keep Well Campaign Partners
The Keep Well Campaign will run until March 2020. DCCI campaign partners include Sláintecare / Healthy Ireland (Dept of Health), Pobail. Delivery of the programme will be via libraries nationwide, supported by the LGMA (the state agency that provides a range of professional services to local authorities.
