National Craft Gallery’s monthly Late Date for June hosts a lively discussion on Public Spaces and Food with Suzanne O’Connell of The Decorators and John Mahon of The Locals, talking eating spaces. The Decorators are an interdisciplinary group of practitioners working with space, designing experiences that invite people to engage with objects and architecture based in London. The Locals are a Dublin based collective design events and interactions such as markets, festivals, documentaries, clubnights, exhibitions, bands, parties, pop-ups and banquets.

Markets, festivals, documentaries, clubnights, exhibitions, bands, parties, pop-ups, banquets, venues, food and drink is what to expect from The Locals.  Under The Locals umbrella they feature the doers, creators and risk takers who create their own niche, build great things and make their communities greater than the sum of their parts.
